We are looking for a bilingual, highly motivated, team-oriented individual to join our Life Operations team as an Operations Specialist on a regular, full time basis.

Reporting to the Associate Manager, SISIP Life Insurance Services, Manulife, you will be responsible for email support, member plan set-up, processing requests and administration of existing business, financial adjustments/calculation and billing of premium and policyholder support, as required.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Receive death notifications, set-up life claims and provide administrative support to the Life Claims Assessor

  • Provide clerical support to the team & other daily administration duties

  • Handle emails from members and our policyholder

  • Prepare and submit policyholder notifications

  • Co-ordinate requirements / supports among operation teams

  • Support in ad-hoc projects or related tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (French & English) is required - The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec

  • Previous life insurance administration experience would be beneficial

  • Infectiously positive personality with a drive to succeed and a dedication to quality service

  • Stellar customer service and skills that demonstrate integrity

  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong data analysis, decision-making ability with a real passion for solving problems

  • Can effectively communicate ideas and recommendations to all levels of the organization

Salary range is expected to be between

$37,425.00 CAD - $62,375.00 CAD
