Duties

  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
  • Perform concrete forming and masonry tasks as needed for various projects.
  • Execute cabinet installation with precision, ensuring alignment and functionality.
  • Conduct electrical work related to carpentry projects when required.
  • Utilize CNC machinery for precise cutting and shaping of materials.
  • Apply caulking to seal joints or seams against leakage in various structures.
  • Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met efficiently.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a carpenter with a comprehensive skill set in maintenance person tasks.
  • Proficient in construction estimating to assess project costs accurately.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in the industry.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
