Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our pharmacy retail team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service while accurately handling transactions and assisting with front-store needs. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide warm, professional service
  • Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
  • Assist customers with general inquiries and direct them to the right products
  • Maintain a clean, organized checkout and front store area
  • Stock shelves, check expiry dates, and ensure product displays are tidy
  • Maintain merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is organized and inviting
  • Manage cash register operations, including balancing drawers at shift end
  • Use strong communication skills to address customer questions and resolve issues promptly
  • Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
  • Apply basic math skills for transaction accuracy and promotional calculations

Experience

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly, patient, and compassionate attitude
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, or cashiering is preferred
  • Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and merchandising is advantageous
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and communication skills are essential for success in this role
  • Basic math and computer skills

Hours: Monday to Saturday flexible hours per week

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$17.29 per hour
