Handwork and Assembly Technician
Handwork and Assembly Technician will be responsible for the following:
Role:
We are looking for a reliable Handwork and Assembly
Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role involves hands on
tasks including assembly of components, manual finishing of components, and
assisting with the preparation of materials for production.
Duties Include:
Perform assembly of components includinginstallation of fasteners, dowels, adhesives, etc.De-Burr and perform finishing tasks on completed
componentsPerform polishing and fitting of components to
ensure required specifications are metMeasurement and documentation of dimensions / QC
checks as requiredMove materials and finished components around the
shop as neededUtilize band saw to cut materials to proper
specificationsClean and package finished componentsMaintain shop cleanlinessEscort contractors as requiredOther tasks as required
Qualifications:
Minimum High Schooleducation or equivalentMandatory that this
role take part in a criminal record check and controlled goods screening
Experience:
Minimum 1 yearexperience requiredExperience working in
a manufacturing sector is considered an asset
Core Work hours:
7:30am-4:00pm Monday– FridayWeekly overtime is
available
