Position Overview:

As the VOD Operations Specialist, you will be the primary owner and subject matter expert for the Merrithew Connect (powered by Uscreen) platform. Your main responsibility is the daily operation, administration, and technical health of the platform, ensuring our B2B clients have a seamless and reliable experience.

Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing and Ecommerce, you will be a key liaison for the platform's day-to-day function. You will work collaboratively with the Commercial Sales team to onboard new clients, the Content Product Manager to upload and organize new videos, and the Support team to ensure all users have correct access. This role is highly operational and focused on process, accuracy, and platform stability.

Major Responsibilities:

B2B Account Provisioning:

  • Manage the end-to-end B2B client onboarding process in Uscreen
  • Manually create and provision new corporate client accounts, manage user rights, and assign the correct subscription access.

Content & Catalog Management:

  • Collect, organize, manage, and upload all video content received into the Uscreen platform.
  • Meticulously tag, categorize, and filter all content to create a highly-organized, friendly catalog that is simple for end-users to navigate (e.g., by time, equipment, difficulty, etc).

Platform Operations & QA:

  • Act as the platform "owner," regularly testing the user experience on web, mobile, and OTT apps (Roku, Apple TV, etc.) to ensure content is displaying and streaming correctly.
  • Request, upload, and manage all necessary digital assets such as video thumbnails and supplementary materials.
  • Edit and proofread all platform-facing text (video titles, descriptions) to ensure quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.

Technical Support & Documentation:

  • Act as the first line of technical support for the platform, troubleshooting client user access issues, diagnosing streaming problems, and escalating to Uscreen support as needed.
  • Create and maintain clear process documentation for internal teams, especially for the B2B account provisioning workflow and common support inquiries.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Support the Sales and Marketing teams with regular data extraction and reporting from the Uscreen analytics, Google Analytics dashboards (e.g., user access logs, content engagement by client).

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Digital Media, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' professional experience in a digital content, operations, platform administrator, or sales operations role.
  • Experience with a Content Management System (CMS), Video Platform (e.g., Uscreen, Vimeo, YouTube), or e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify) is essential.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and an obsessive attention to detail; you are a "process" oriented person who values accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; you are a logical thinker who can troubleshoot technical issues calmly and methodically.
  • A team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and Content teams.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple operational tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the platform's daily health.
  • Knowledge of the fitness industry and Pilates considered an asset.
