Capital City Paving is a locally owned paving company based in Langford, BC. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Skid Steer Operator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in site preparation, paving support, and general operations.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate skid steer equipment for grading, loading, and material handling
  • Assist with asphalt paving, patching, and site preparation
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
  • Work closely with crew members to complete projects efficiently
  • Follow all company safety policies and WorkSafeBC regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site
  • Assist with general labour tasks when required

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience operating a skid steer (construction or paving experience preferred)
  • Valid driver's license (Class 5 minimum)
  • Code 20 certification is an asset
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
  • First Aid, or other safety certifications are an asset

Wage depends on level of experience. $25-35 per hour.
