Warehouse Team Lead – Receiving
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support daily OTD goals by maintaining 24-hour turnaround of all inbound shipments.
• Maintain 24-hour turnaround of all RGA's.
• Communicate issues/delays/backorders to Purchasing/CSR/other departments as needed and in a timey manner.
• With the support of warehouse team, load/unload trucks and assist customers/drivers.
• Organize and implement regular location replenishing activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment following 5S methodology.
• As required, ensure cycle counts are completed and submitted to Purchasing team in a timely manner.
• Train warehouse staff as required by Management.
• Support Company and Safety policies while monitoring compliance by warehouse team. Notify Management of any violations.
• Assist internal/external customers as needed.
• Maintain high productivity and quality standards across all warehouse activities.
• Attend prescribed courses and training as required.
• Other duties as required by Management.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

• Excellent attendance.
• Prior experience in Shipping-Receiving is required.
• Background of Supply Chain or Manufacturing Industry is an asset.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal & written.
• Proficiency with MS office, internet solutions, computerized systems - software or ERP.
• Regularly required to stand; walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to push/pull up to 35 pounds.
• Able to work over-time and weekend shifts if required.
• Forklift experience.

Salary & Conditions:

• Job Location: Ammega Canada Inc Export Blvd, Mississauga, ON
• Salary: $23 to $24 per hour, depending on profile and experience
• Days of work: Monday to Friday - Permanent Full-time position, 40 hours per week
• Shift timing: 8:30 am to 5 pm
