At Rip Rap Plumbing we are experts in working with new residential homes. We are a team of approximately 33 people, and we are dedicated to providing excellent customer service to our builders and their clients. We are located on an acreage just outside of Spruce Grove and our office looks onto a beautiful green space.

We are currently looking for a Plumbing Coordinator to join our team in the front-end office. The Office Assistant carries out the duties required for the day-to-day operations of residential plumbing in new builds. The successful candidate must be able to handle confidential information, have a keen eye for attention to detail, and be able to manage their time and multi-task on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate must be a team player with the ability to build relationships with all internal/external customers. The is a full-time position with an excellent opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is to ensure that all warranty-related issues are documented, addressed, and resolved. Scheduling new home warranty issues with builders, homeowners and service Plumbers. Maintaining and organization of work orders and emails keeping priority on emergencies and repairs.

  • Working with various industry portal software

  • Creating and maintaining multiple spreadsheets using Microsoft Office for upper management

  • Filing, answering phones, filtering & directing emails

  • Supporting the Office Manager as needed

Qualifications:

  • An Office Administration diploma

  • At least 2 years of experience working in an office environment (up to 1 year will be considered)

  • Experience working in Construction, preferably the Plumbing industry would be a definite asset

  • Must be extremely proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook shared mailboxes

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, while managing ongoing priorities

  • Outstanding capability to learn and develop new procedures, while ensuring daily tasks are running efficiently and effectively

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), time management and organizational skills

  • Exceptional internal and external customer service skills
