Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and residential projects. Candidates should be comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment, as well as performing heavy lifting and working in various construction environments. A background in carpentry, HVAC, or construction is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in new construction and existing structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics effectively to complete tasks
  • Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues before they become major problems
  • Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC to coordinate project requirements
  • Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks
  • Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related systems as needed
  • Maintain a clean work environment and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations

Experience

  • Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance within commercial or residential settings
  • Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, schematics, and blueprint reading
  • Familiarity with carpentry, HVAC systems, welding, and the use of hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations
  • Experience with heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments
  • Knowledge of construction processes and safety standards is preferred
  • Valid driver's license for commercial driving is a plus but not required

This position requires a dedicated professional with strong technical skills, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Applicants should be prepared for physically demanding tasks while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.03-$49.62 per hour
