Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Handle stock and put away parts/supplies while maintaining an organized and clean storage area.
  • Ensure all cores are tagged and returned.
  • Able to pick up parts and supply at various locations
  • Daily shop cleaning and maintenance for upkeep (includes parts room and all entrances). Sweep, organize, empty oil containers, discard old parts and boxes etc.
  • Removal of daily garbage and empty recycling bin
  • General daily maintenance of the yard, including snow removal and plowing
  • General maintenance of property and building to assure cleanliness and company image
  • General vehicle cleaning and detailing
  • Ensuring all units outside of building are parked properly and safely
  • Able to assist in delivery of vehicles to various places in Durham and surrounding areas
  • Making sure all duties are completed by end of day following a duty list
  • Removal and delivery of recycling materials
  • Other duties, projects, etc. as requested by management

Qualifications:

  • Efficient computer knowledge (Word, Excel)
  • Highly organized with great attention to details
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Full G license with a clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude, energetic and customer service friendly to all company related personnel
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis
  • Forklift experience (certification preferred)
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision

Based on experience.
