Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Consultant to join our team. This a base salary plus bonuses/commisions. The position requires daily travel to clients homes. Most appointments are within Dartmouth/Halifax and are typically less than 2 hours from HRM with some exceptions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and excellent communication skills. We will consider full-time or part-time positions (Part-time positions are under a different pay structure).

If selected interviews will be taking place in person in Dartmouth on November 29th.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to achieve targets
  • Utilize sales techniques to increase sales
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Conduct outside sales visits to clients
  • Provide support and information to customers throughout the process from initial consultation to installation and beyond.
  • To maintain the knowledge necessary to be able to provide customers with the information and solutions
  • To adapt and learn new product as necessary in a continually evolving market.
  • Commitment to meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas
  • Preparing and submitting weekly sales and expense reports to management
  • Use of companies pricing tools and other computer programs
  • Professional hygiene, appearance, and attitude

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in outside sales is REQUIRED
  • Personality, enthusiasm and commitment to customer service is mandatory for success in this position.
  • Customer service skills – listen to customers and professionally answer questions.
  • To be able to resolve customer concerns/problems in a professional and timely manner.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills with attention to detail and a basic level of proficiency with computers
  • Must be able to plan and organize time and resources efficiently.
  • Must have Valid Nova Scotia driver's license with a clean drivers' abstract
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • The ability to work independently or part of a team as necessary.
  • Candidates must be bondable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
