Responsibilities

  • Assist with the loading, unloading, and transportation of materials, tools, and equipment around the construction site
  • Prepare job sites by cleaning, clearing debris, and setting up safety barriers or signage
  • Support skilled tradespeople by holding materials, tools, or equipment as needed
  • Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for everyone on-site
  • Perform basic tasks such as digging, mixing concrete, or assisting with measurements under supervision
  • Operate simple machinery or power tools in accordance with safety guidelines and training
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety at all times

Qualifications

  • Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively within a team
  • Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
  • Valid driver's license is advantageous but not mandatory
