We are currently seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at our head office in Red Deer, Alberta.

What You Will Do

  • Design and develop electronic control systems for combustion and safety applications.
  • Develop embedded firmware and software to support system functionality.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and support materials.
  • Design and produce PCB drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Assemble and test electronic prototypes to validate designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete product design and ensure project success.
  • Participate in project start-up meetings and contribute to planning and scheduling activities.
  • Be involved in the certification of new products, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design or performance issues through hands-on problem solving.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA, or eligibility for registration.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in electrical or electronic design.
  • Background in the oil and gas industry, with experience in burner ignition or control systems considered an asset.
