Fuel Delivery Driver

We are currently seeking a reliable, responsible and motivated individual to join our fantastic team of Truck Drivers, who will be responsible for transporting and delivering fuel along the South Shore of Nova Scotia. The ideal candidate would join a dedicated team of a small family operated business, that runs primarily to exceed expectations in every area of the business.

We are looking for individuals who are team players and enjoy engaging with the public.
We primarily focus on residential heating oil, but may occasionally deliver a variety of other products.
Daily tasks will include conducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspections , preparation of the daily deliveries, keeping count of the fuel on board/fuel going into residential/commercial tanks, ensure efficient loading of the fuel truck, 30-40 deliveries per day between 7:30a and 7pm, receiving payments from homeowners, and occasional light servicing/maintenance of the trucks.

Your Experience:
Valid commercial truck driver's license with a clean Driver's Abstract required
Class 3 designation with air brakes required
WHMIS & Dangerous Goods Certification required (can be offered through company)
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
Minimum 2 years fuel delivery experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
