Job Summary

Role

The treasurer oversees the London Cycle Links financial management and ensures clear, accurate reporting to support programs, advocacy, and community initiatives. You don't need to be an avid cyclist to join—just committed to good financial stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report the organization's financial position to the board, including monthly and quarterly updates.
  • Prepare the annual year-end financial statements.
  • Support the external reviewer by providing required documentation and responding to queries.
  • Assist the bookkeeper with payroll-related tasks when needed.
  • Prepare annual and project-based budgets.
  • Produce financial reports required for grant reporting.
  • Handle additional financial duties that strengthen the organization's overall operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management.
  • Comfort with budgeting, reporting, and working with QuickBooks
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to a non-financial audience.

Time Commitment

Flexible volunteer hours with additional time required during year-end and major grant cycles.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $0.01 per year

Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in London, ON N5W 2Z4
