As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a temporary, full-time Commercial Credit Officer at our McNabb St. branch located in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

The Commercial Credit Officer provides comprehensive, high quality commercial services and lending support to the Commercial Sales Group including the Operations Manager, branches, members and third parties. As the final step in the process of funds disbursement, this position carries a high level of responsibility and attention to detail to ensure that verification of security documentation, policy compliance and terms/conditions of credit has been met prior to advance of funds, referring any irregularities to the Director of Credit. A high degree of professionalism and tactfulness is required in liaising with members, internal/external customers and third parties.

Preferred candidates will possess the following qualifications:

  • Relevant college or university degree and
  • 2 years related experience in commercial lending, consumer credit or bookkeeping
  • Knowledge of commercial lending processes, policies and procedures
  • Exceptional organization, time management and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Access

Starting Wage: $25.95/hour
