Summary
Enerflex is looking for Journeyman, 3rd year, and 4th Year Pipefitters for permanent positions.

Successful candidates must have experience with process pipe install, small bore threaded / socket weld fabrication, and most importantly have a great attitude, work ethic and enjoy working as part of a team.

Reporting to the Assembly Supervisor, the Pipefitter role is to fit and align pipe that meets ABSA and Enerflex, Ltd. Standards. The individual will be a Journeyman/ Apprentice who has a continual focus on safety, cost control, meets and maintains Enerflex's quality expectations to ensure customer satisfaction when performing the duties of the position. You must also have experience producing quality work with attention to detail in order to meet and exceed customer's needs.

With a foundation of integrity, the candidate would use commitment and creativity to drive our organization forward. This position is based out of the Enerflex's facility in SE Calgary Street SE).

Day Shift: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm, 4 days a week
*Responsibilities and Duties*

  • Follow all shop safety and job specific safety protocols.
  • Follow company work instructions to facilitate the satisfactory completion of assigned tasks.
  • Read and interpret isometric spool sheets, P&ID and specifications drawings.
  • Use hydraulic torque wrenches (Hytorc) to assemble piping.
  • Assemble fittings and pipes using tack welding.
  • Journeymen must be willing to guide and mentor apprentices when required.
  • Able to supply your own basic hand tools.

Qualifications

  • Possess a valid Alberta Journeyman Pipefitting Certificate with Interprovincial Red Sealed Journeyman Pipefitter Certificate is preferred, or enrolled as an Apprentice Pipefitter with relevant experience.
  • Current certification in the following is considered an asset: WHMIS, Fall Protection (FP), Aerial Work Platform (AWP), Overhead Crane Training. First Aid.
  • Possess excellent communication, organizational, and people skills.
  • Must be dependable, reliable, and have a proven attendance record.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment health assessment including a drug and alcohol test.
