Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality cabinets and custom woodwork, ensuring precision and craftsmanship in every project. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial installations, utilizing a variety of woodworking techniques and tools. Candidates should have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and related construction skills, with the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints accurately.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to produce custom cabinetry and special projects.
  • Cut, shape, assemble, and install cabinets using hand tools, power tools, and other woodworking equipment.
  • Perform precise measurements to ensure proper fit and finish of cabinetry components.
  • Utilize construction estimating skills to assist in project planning and material procurement.
  • Install cabinetry on-site, ensuring alignment, stability, and aesthetic quality.
  • Conduct restoration work on existing cabinetry or wood structures as needed.
  • Apply finishing techniques such as sanding, staining, painting, or caulking to achieve desired aesthetics.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling procedures.

Skills

  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
  • Strong woodworking skills including cabinetry assembly, installation, and finishing techniques.
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools.
  • Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials safely and stand for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$33.29 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
