Role Overview:
As a Test Engineer in the healthcare domain, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of innovative digital health solutions. You'll collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Software Engineering, and ML Engineering teams to build and validate platforms and applications aligned with emerging healthcare trends, including digital diagnostics, software as a medical device (SaMD), AI-driven solutions, and healthcare marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents to define comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, design, and document effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute manual and automated test cases; capture, analyze, and report test results.
- Perform functional, system, regression, performance, and API testing across web and mobile (native) applications.
- Identify, log, track, and validate defects through the full defect life cycle in collaboration with development teams.
- Build, enhance, and maintain automated test suites to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Create and maintain test artifacts including test cases, defect logs, test plans, and test reports.
- Participate in release cycles to ensure testing commitments and quality standards are met.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- Maintain strong collaboration and communication within cross-functional teams.
Basic Qualifications:
Must Have
- Strong experience deriving test cases from requirements and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with
scenario-based testing
methodologies. - Experience testing
web and native mobile applications
. - Solid experience with
API testing
. - Strong understanding of
test case design, execution templates, and reporting standards
. - In-depth knowledge of
Black Box and White Box testing techniques
. - Thorough understanding of
SDLC and STLC
processes. - Strong knowledge of the
defect life cycle
and defect management best practices. - Experience with
test automation frameworks
. - Familiarity with
test management tools
and
Git
. - Exposure to
AI-assisted testing tools
. - Working knowledge of
Microsoft Excel and Word
.
Nice to Have
- Experience testing front-end technologies such as
Angular
,
Flutter
, or native mobile frameworks. - Exposure to
front-end and API test automation
. - Experience with
JavaScript-based testing frameworks
(e.g.,
Jest, Cypress, Playwright
) or equivalent UI automation tools in other ecosystems (e.g., Flutter). - Familiarity with
AWS cloud services

AWS Cognito
. - Knowledge of
security testing concepts and best practices
. - Experience working in
Agile/Scrum and Waterfall
delivery environments. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

- Clear, confident communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple, accessible manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Developers, DevOps, Business Analysts, Product Managers and QA peers.
- Ability to produce clear, audience-appropriate documentation and reports.
