Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental technology and laboratory practices, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in creating high-quality dental prosthetics that meet the specific needs of our patients and dental professionals.

Duties

  • Fabricate dentures and denture products using a variety of procedures including IvoCap and IvoBase processes.
  • Collaborate with denturists to understand patient requirements, timelines, and to ensure accurate specifications are met.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
  • Assist the lead denturist with all lab related tasks, including setting teeth.
  • Follow detailed procedures to the specifications of the clinic.
  • Learn and perform techniques involved in creating digital dentures as the clinic gradually transitions.
  • Assist in training new staff members on laboratory processes and techniques as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Dental Technician or in a similar role within a dental office or laboratory setting (Ideal but not required).
  • Previous experience using CAD software for designing dental appliances is ideal.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory environment, including knowledge of dental materials and fabrication techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity skills.
  • Ability to independently plan, prioritize, and complete competing tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while maintaining effective communication.

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
