We are currently looking for a skilled and safety-focused Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is AC certified, experienced in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electronic vehicle systems, and committed to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform diagnostics to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using modern diagnostic tools and systems
· Conduct inspections and routine maintenance to ensure vehicle functionality and longevity (e.g., fluid changes, lubrication, system checks)
· Troubleshoot and repair vehicle systems to restore full performance and reliability
· Inspect and repair electronic control systems, sensors, and onboard computers
· Replace or repair defective parts, such as brakes, suspension components, and engine parts
· Provide accurate time, cost, and effort estimates for repairs and maintenance
· Schedule and perform future maintenance services; advise customers on best practices for vehicle care
· Maintain detailed service logs and records of repairs
· Ensure all tools and equipment are used and maintained safely and effectively
· Follow all safety procedures and protocols when working with vehicles, chemicals, and heavy machinery
Requirements:
· AC Certification
· Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
· In-depth understanding of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
· Skilled in using diagnostic tools and interpreting diagnostic results
· Capable of handling a variety of tools and operating heavy shop equipment (e.g., vehicle lifts)
· Strong attention to safety, with a commitment to following all workplace health and safety standards
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Candidates must currently reside in Ontario and be legally eligible to work in Canada. This is an on-site position.
