We're looking for a Production Designer with impeccable taste and excellent design skills to join our in-house creative team. You'll work on a range of projects including email campaigns, motion graphics, out of home, and semiannual product release campaigns. As a Production Designer, you will combine design craft with production rigor to deliver polished assets at scale, working from initial concept through final execution across every customer touchpoint. You'll report to the Creative Lead, and work in close partnership with other designers, copywriters, producers, developers, marketing stakeholders, project managers, and other cross-functional teammates.
In addition to design skills, you'll need to demonstrate a wide range of soft skills, including collaboration, organization, adaptability, time management, attention to detail, and excellent communication and presentation skills. You'll establish efficient workflows for high-volume asset production, implement quality checks, and maintain organized file management systems. You'll also stay current with evolving production techniques, testing and mastering new AI tools to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:- Create and ensure design consistency and excellence across a variety of deliverables including emails, in-app messages, blog posts, landing pages, partner logo lockups, print and digital paid media assets.
- Maintain and update Figma component libraries in collaboration with the design systems team to ensure brand consistency and production efficiency across the organization.
- Partner closely with creative directors, marketers, external vendors, and content strategists to execute first-class work in a fast-paced environment.
- Apply, maintain, and champion the Lyft brand style throughout all channels.
- Incorporate feedback from a variety of stakeholders to create appropriate solutions in the work you produce.
- Prepare production-ready files with proper technical specifications for various outputs and platforms.
- Adapt quickly to incorporate new learnings and new AI tools into your creative and design work.
- Manage asset production workflows from briefing through delivery, with support and guidance from creative leads.
- Establish and maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, and version control for seamless team collaboration.
- Bring technical excellence and design solutions to each project.
- 4+ years experience at a design studio, agency or in-house creative team
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your attention to detail, technical proficiency, and design skills through visually-compelling work.
- A strong grasp of composition, typography, color,imagery, and motion
- Experience working within and applying design systems and brand guidelines at scale
- Proficiency of design tools: Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects
- Solid understanding of design systems, web, email, print, and motion graphics
- Willingness to test and learn new AI tools
- Technical knowledge of file preparation for various outputs: web, social, display ads, print, motion and environmental applications
- A growth mindset
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Ability to be detailed in your execution, but flexible in your approach
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is CAD $90,000 - CAD $112,500, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
