What You'll Accomplish With Us
As a Trade Conduct Compliance Analyst, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
- Conduct real time and post trade surveillance of securities and financial instrument transactions executed by multiple trading desks.
- Proactively identify, manage and escalate potential regulatory concerns.
- Support the Trade Conduct Compliance department by maintaining surveillance logs and enhancing the surveillance process's effectiveness and efficiency.
- Collaborate in the development of tools and surveillance system.
- Engage with traders and members of the Capital Markets division to address regular and ad hoc trade surveillance queries.
- Design, present, and report key performance indicators for the trade surveillance program. Summarize findings for compliance reporting.
- Create, test, and implement new surveillance scenarios.
- Work closely with various business lines and partners to pinpoint potential regulatory risk. Develop and implement controls to manage and mitigate these risks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on evolving compliance requirement and risk dynamics.
What Could Accelerate Your Success In This Role
We're looking for someone who:
- Is known for their strong analytical and data management skills
- Stands out for their high level of organization, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Demonstrates strong proficiency with MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
- Is recognized for their excellent written and verbal communication, as well as their ability to work effectively within a team
- Has 1–3 years of experience in a relevant role, preferably in the financial services industry; knowledge of trading systems and compliance software is an asset
- Has a University Degree or a College Diploma, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Advanced levels of English proficiency, as the role involves communicating with anglophones daily.
- Advanced level of French proficiency, as the role involves communicating with francophones daily.
