What you will be doing:
Cloud Operations Financial Analysis and Visibility:
Lead Cloud cost visibility across the organization.
- Conduct cost analysis of cloud infrastructure usage.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and provide recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with technical decisions.
Cultivate FinOps Culture:
Drive the adoption and promotion of FinOps principles and practices within the organization.
Initiate and nurture a culture that emphasizes responsible and efficient cloud spending.
Guidance on Cloud Spending:
Provide guidance to teams to make informed decisions on cloud spending.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between their needs and cloud expenses.
Improved Budgeting and Forecasting:
Improve budgeting processes and enhance cloud cost forecasting accuracy for the cloud operations team.
- Develop and manage budgets for cloud infrastructure and related services.
Monitor and report on budget variances.
Efficiency Programs and Optimization Strategies:
Drive Efficiency Programs.
- Implement and execute strategies for optimizing infrastructure costs.
- Drive initiatives to improve resource utilization and efficiency.
Stay updated on industry best practices for cost optimization.
Cost Modeling and Automation:
Forecast future costs based on usage patterns and growth projections.
- Analyze cost implications of architecture and design decisions.
- Utilize FinOps tools and platforms to monitor and manage costs.
- Integrate cost monitoring into the overall observability and alerting system.
Leverage AI within the FinOps practice, including self-service empowerment for end users.
Collaboration and Training:
Work closely with Architecture, Site Reliability Engineering, Development, Cloud Operations and Finance to align on goals.
- Communicate cost-related insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Facilitate training sessions to promote FinOps best practices within the organization.
Policy, Governance, and Continuous Improvement:
Establish and enforce policies related to cost management.
- Define and document financial governance processes.
- Ensure compliance with organizational budget and financial guidelines.
- Conduct regular reviews of cost metrics and performance indicators.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement continuous optimization practices.
Participate in post-mortems and root cause analysis related to cost incidents.
Cloud Vendor Management and Collaboration with Leadership:
Engage with cloud service providers to negotiate contracts and pricing.
- Stay informed about changes in pricing models and services offered by vendors.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools or services that could improve cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including c-suite, to help them understand the breakdown of cloud costs and negotiation opportunities.
What we're looking for:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience in a FinOps, financial analysis, or cost management role.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and architectures.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure.
Certifications in FinOps or cloud platforms are a plus.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in using FinOps tools and platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud concepts and infrastructures.
- Experience with Kubernetes is essential.
Familiarity with AWS and/or GCP.
Skills and Attributes:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ce que vous ferez :
Analyse financière et visibilité des opérations Cloud
Assurer la visibilité des coûts liés au cloud dans toute l'organisation.
- Réaliser des analyses des coûts liés à l'utilisation des infrastructures cloud.
- Identifier des opportunités d'optimisation des coûts et proposer des recommandations.
Collaborer avec des équipes multidisciplinaires pour aligner les objectifs financiers avec les décisions techniques.
Promouvoir une culture FinOps
Encourager l'adoption des principes et pratiques FinOps dans l'entreprise.
Instaurer une culture centrée sur une gestion responsable et efficace des dépenses cloud.
Conseils en dépenses Cloud
Aider les équipes à prendre des décisions éclairées en matière de dépenses cloud.
Collaborer avec les équipes techniques pour assurer l'alignement entre les besoins et les coûts engendrés.
Amélioration du budget et des prévisions
Améliorer les processus de budgétisation et la précision des prévisions de coûts cloud.
- Gérer les budgets liés aux infrastructures cloud.
Suivre et signaler les écarts budgétaires.
Programmes d'efficacité et stratégies d'optimisation
Mettre en œuvre des initiatives d'optimisation des coûts d'infrastructure.
- Lancer des actions pour améliorer l'utilisation des ressources.
Suivre les meilleures pratiques du secteur en matière de réduction des coûts.
Modélisation des coûts et automatisation
Prévoir les coûts futurs selon les usages et la croissance.
- Analyser les impacts financiers des choix d'architecture.
- Utiliser les outils FinOps pour surveiller et gérer les coûts.
- Intégrer la surveillance des coûts dans les systèmes d'observabilité.
Exploiter l'IA dans la pratique FinOps, y compris l'autonomisation des utilisateurs finaux.
Collaboration et formation
Travailler avec les équipes Architecture, SRE, Développement, Opérations Cloud et Finance.
- Communiquer les recommandations liées aux coûts à divers intervenants.
Animer des sessions de formation pour diffuser les bonnes pratiques FinOps.
Politiques, gouvernance et amélioration continue
Définir et appliquer des politiques de gestion des coûts.
- Documenter les processus de gouvernance financière.
- S'assurer du respect des lignes directrices budgétaires.
- Examiner régulièrement les indicateurs de performance liés aux coûts.
Participer aux post-mortems et analyses d'incidents financiers.
Gestion des fournisseurs Cloud et collaboration avec la direction
Négocier avec les fournisseurs de services cloud.
- Se tenir informé des modèles tarifaires et services proposés.
- Recommander des outils ou services améliorant l'efficacité financière.
- Aider les dirigeants à comprendre la répartition des coûts cloud et les pistes de négociation
Ce que nous recherchons :
Formation et experience
Baccalauréat requis ; maîtrise souhaitée.
- Expérience en FinOps, analyse financière ou gestion des coûts.
- Bonne compréhension des technologies cloud et des architectures.
- Minimum 5 ans d'expérience en infrastructures cloud.
Certifications FinOps ou plateformes cloud, un atout.
Compétences techniques
Maîtrise des outils et plateformes FinOps.
- Excellente connaissance des concepts cloud.
- Expérience avec Kubernetes indispensable.
Connaissance d'AWS et/ou GCP.
Compétences et qualités personnelles
Solides capacités d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes.
- Bonne communication et esprit d'équipe.
