Position Overview: Early Childhood Educator (ECE)

As a
Full-Time Early Childhood Educator
, you will support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development within a structured and well-supported childcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education aligned with Alberta early learning standards
  • Support children through consistent daily routines and transitions
  • Prepare and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
  • Guide behaviour using co-regulation, clear boundaries, and positive guidance strategies
  • Observe, document, and respond to children's developmental needs
  • Support family-style meals using Montessori grace and courtesy practices
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and centre leadership
  • Maintain professional communication with families and colleagues
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and health & safety standards

  • Early Childhood Education certification – Level 3 (required)

  • Ability to remain calm, grounded, and emotionally regulated
  • Alignment with Blüm Academy's values and professional standards

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly wage:
    $18.80–$20.80, based on experience and certification
  • Hours:
    Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
