About the Opportunity

ESW Building Services Inc. is expanding our skilled trades team and looking for an experienced Hardwood Flooring Specialist to bring craftsmanship, precision, and pride to every project. From installation to refinishing, you'll play a key role in delivering the high-quality results our clients expect. We also welcome established subcontractors or crews interested in partnering with us on ongoing and future projects.

What You'll Do

  • Install, repair, sand, and refinish hardwood flooring with expert attention to detail.
  • Apply stains, sealants, and protective coatings to enhance durability and appearance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to ensure accurate and efficient installations.
  • Safely operate power tools and equipment while maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with site supervisors, team members, and clients to ensure project satisfaction.
  • Uphold ESW's commitment to quality, professionalism, and respect on every job site.

What You Bring

  • Proven hands-on experience in hardwood flooring installation, repair, or refinishing.
  • Strong understanding of floor preparation, leveling, and layout techniques.
  • Parquet or specialty wood flooring experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of restoration processes, materials, and safety standards.
  • Additional skills in tile, trim carpentry, or general renovation work are an asset.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Contractors or small crews with their own equipment are encouraged to connect for partnership opportunities.
