Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a PRIVATE CLINIC setting and possess a strong background in patient care, particularly with Sports, MVA, WCB injuries. You will play a critical role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and rehabilitation goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and case management activities.
  • Stay current with medical terminology and best practices in occupational therapy to enhance patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to further enhance skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Hospital experience preferred, with a focus on acute care settings.
  • Familiarity with case management processes and medical terminology is essential.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Pay: $29.07-$79.43 per hour
