The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience with low voltage systems, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain cable systems such as telecommunication lines, CCTV cameras, and computer networks.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform installations and repairs.
  • Conduct testing of low voltage systems including sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and other security devices.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues related to cable infrastructure and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Assist in the setup of computer hardware and network configurations as needed.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes.
  • Document work performed accurately for maintenance records.

Skills

  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Experience with construction practices related to cable installation projects.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and power tools operation.
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems, sensors, IDS, and telecommunication infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware setup and computer networking principles.
  • Mechanical knowledge for handling various hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting electrical and network issues.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
