Join Our Team as a Server at Lakeshore Place

Location:

Regency Retirement Resorts have 8 locations in the Okanagan, including Vernon, Penticton, West Kelowna, and Kelowna.  This position is on site at Kelowna.

Job Description:

Under the direction of the Dining Room Supervisor, you will be performing food service and cleaning activities at Regency Retirement Resorts within established guidelines and procedures as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain professional conduct, grooming, and appearance according to resort standards.
  • Serve food and beverages for all meals, events, and catering functions.
  • Prepare and serve specific food items, such as breakfast items.
  • Set up, clear, and break down Food and Beverage areas for events and meals.
  • Clean and wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and store them properly.
  • Restock dietary supplies, unpack groceries, and ensure equipment cleanliness.
  • Foster a team environment and maintain positive interactions with staff and other departments.
  • Maintain confidentiality of Resident and organizational information while supporting their well-being.
  • Reports damaged or inoperable equipment, furniture and fixtures to the Food and Beverage Supervisor.
  • Assist with new employee orientation and perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Related Food Service experience an asset.
  • Food Safe.
  • Serving it Right

Skills for Success:

  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Mentally and physically able to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
  • Able to plan and organize meal service.

Wage and Availability 

  • This is a full-time position that requires flexibility, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays to support resident needs and special events.
  • The hourly wage for this position is $18.18.
