WHAT'S ON OFFER

We're looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join our growing engineering team, with a specific focus on building and maintaining custom features, configurations, and integrations that enhance the ODAIA platform for enterprise clients. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to understand client-specific needs and deliver high-impact customizations without compromising scalability and performance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Work with the product team to understand product strategy and product roadmapWork directly with engineering and ML engineering teams to understand data science capabilities, cloud infrastructure, and how these components can help solve end-user problemsManage backlogs, prioritize stories and improvementsAnalyze, utilize, and act on the data insights presented through instrumentationConsult with product and design on the best visualization and experienceFacilitate inter-team and cross-functional collaboration, and come up with new ways to leverage instrumentation reporting for product development initiativesJuggle between production and rapid prototyping needs in a fast-paced environment using agile software practicesPlease include a cover letter with your application outlining your relevant experience and interest in this role, you can describe a project you've worked on that relates to one of the "What you bring" or "What you will do" points, and share how you'd expand on it here at ODAIA.


WHAT YOU BRING

3+ years of experience in a full stack role, with strong hands-on coding experienceSolid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, functional design, and other design principles/patternsExperience building APIs using at least one of the following technologies: Python, , Java, and .NetExperience in React and Typescript Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party API integrations, and database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).Experienced in AWS stack or an equivalent cloud platformUnderstanding of data science or data analytics is highly beneficialA pragmatic, delivery-oriented mindset—you know how to ship clean code that solves real-world problems.Experience supporting enterprise customers with custom implementations or workflowsExcellent communication skills; you're comfortable working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholdersUnderstanding of data science or data analytics is highly beneficialBonus: Experience with data visualization libraries or tools, healthcare/pharma data, or building internal toolsAdjusts quickly to changing priorities and copes effectively with complexity and ambiguityA continuous learner who seeks and welcomes feedback to improve yourself and your craftGrand vision, low ego, and able to make a big impact

LOCATION

We are a remote first company with employees in both Canada and the US.  Our office hub is located downtown Toronto.  Team building, communication and social connectivity are important and we support this with virtual and in-person collaborative work sessions, team meetings and socials.

The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 CAD. 
This range represents ODAIA's good-faith estimate based on current market data and internal equity. Final compensation is determined through a comprehensive review of the successful candidate's unique skill set, specialized experience, and relevant certifications. As such, the final offer may vary based on these specific factors. Salary expectations will be discussed collaboratively early in the process to ensure alignment. This role is also eligible for health benefits, stock options, and flexible time off policies as mentioned above.
