JOB TITLE: Driver

General Summary: We are looking for a responsible, reliable delivery driver who can operate Transit, 3-Ton, and 5-Ton single axle vehicles. You will represent our company in a professional and courteous manner, delivering our products directly to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Use GPS delivery route system with order tracking
  • Inspect, operate, and manage company vehicles
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect customer product orders
  • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses within northern Alberta
  • Complete logs and reports
  • Follow regulations and safety standards
  • Deal with customers directly upon delivery to site locations
  • Pick and prepare orders

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as a 3 or 5 ton delivery driver preferred
  • Must be comfortable driving on roads in Alberta weather conditions
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Customer relation & Interaction skills
  • Computer & Smartphone skills
  • Handling of power equipment (Pallet jacks)
  • Ability to work in group or individual settings
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good driving record with minimal traffic violations
  • Applicant must be 25 years of age or older
  • Ability to lift 40-50 Lbs when required

Details

  • Working hours Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Overtime hours will be required occasionally
  • Delivering inside the city of Edmonton and Northern Alberta
  • Working hours per week: 40-48 hrs
  • High school degree

Training

  • Vehicle training for fleet provided
  • TDG/Whimis will be provided

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
