Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment and systems to ensure optimal operation. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Repair Technician plays a critical role in minimizing downtime and ensuring safety standards are met across all maintenance activities.

Duties

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems using schematics and technical manuals
  • Perform repairs on computer hardware, telecommunication equipment, and low voltage systems
  • Utilize hand tools and specialized maintenance equipment to execute repairs efficiently
  • Conduct software troubleshooting to resolve system errors or malfunctions
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities for documentation purposes
  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks to prevent future breakdowns
  • Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to coordinate repair efforts and minimize operational disruptions

Skills

  • Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical knowledge for effective repairs
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience with telecommunication systems and low voltage wiring
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and electrical experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with software troubleshooting processes for various operating systems or applications
  • Maintenance experience in industrial or commercial settings preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adhere to safety standards
