THE ROLE:**

Then the Product Management Lead position at Apply Digital is perfect for your next career move.
We are looking for an experienced Product Management Lead to join our team on a short-term basis. This position sits within the Product Management team at Apply Digital, and is the backbone of all project executions. You own the product vision, requirements management, and ROI of the products that we build for our clients. Your duties will include generating purposeful ideas, strategy and vision creation, and following through with end-to-end product definition and development. You will also be responsible for ongoing management, operation, and optimization of the product.
Responsibilities
- Lead product discovery efforts in partnership with the client—facilitating alignment on business goals, user needs, and technical constraints to uncover and validate the right problems to solve.
- Build and champion product strategies and vision throughout client engagements, while briefing and inspiring internal teams to deliver on that vision.
- Retrieve and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, leveraging research methods and workshop facilitation to shape product requirements, features, and outcomes.
- Own the creation of product plans and roadmaps, ensuring alignment and buy-in from executive stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain detailed product requirements documents (PRDs), capturing client, business, user experience, design, technical, and non-functional needs—resolving conflicts and communicating changes clearly to both teams and client stakeholders.
- Organize and prioritize product releases to meet business value expectations, balancing impact and feasibility.
- Define measurement plans to track product usage and user impact, and develop proficiency with analytics tools to inform decisions.
- Ensure requirements are delivered to specification, manage defect resolution, and assess readiness for launch.
- Continuously identify opportunities to expand the product vision based on data and research-driven insights.
- Add value beyond execution—you are a consultative partner who understands how to drive ROI by aligning customer and business value, navigating constraints, and making strategic recommendations to advance the product vision.
Requirements
- You've built platforms that enable digital experiences, with a minimum 10+ years of experience leading product or engineering teams for Digital Experience Platforms.
- Experience with Cloud technologies, web content management, distributed systems, and the latest trends in digital experience management.
- You have years of experience communicating and collaborating with Executive Stakeholders from across an organization.
- You have proven yourself in a consultation role, through Agency, Consultancy, or other Professional Services Firm.
- You are perceptive, a creative leader, and a problem solver.
- You are professional, confident, and able to understand which ideas will and which won't work.
- It's easy for you to break down complex problems into logical, digestible steps.
- Ambiguity doesn't scare you, and you thrive on turning ambiguity and conflicting information into clarity in a fast-changing environment.
- You have a portfolio of digital products that you have shipped, managed and operated, and are proud to share how it delivered value to end users.
- You are an expert in the e-commerce space having built in several platforms and have strategically designed and built roadmaps.
- You're good at techie speak and non-techie speak. You've collaborated in multidisciplinary teams, are able to convey technical concepts to non-technical people as well as turn business, UX, design requirements into technical specifications.
