Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Suger Full time
About Us
Suger helps B2B companies sell through cloud marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, Alibaba, Snowflake), the fastest-growing sales channel in enterprise software. We remove the operational mess behind marketplace sales with an API-first revenue platform. Our customers range from Snowflake and Intel to fast-growing startups like Glean and Vanta. We're Series A, well-funded, and past "does this work?" We're building the next generation of B2B go-to-market infrastructure, and outbound plays a critical role in that growth.
This role blends deep technical understanding with customer-facing communication. You'll work directly with engineering teams at startups and large enterprises to design integrations, troubleshoot issues, and guide customers from discovery through implementation and long-term success.
You'll collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering, ensuring customers understand how to use Suger's APIs, workflows, and marketplace capabilities to drive revenue.
This role is based in Vancouver, Canada. We use a hybrid work model of 4 days in the Downtown office per week. In this role, you'll:
  • Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and map workflows to Suger's APIs and integrations
  • Lead technical discovery, demos, walkthroughs, and proof-of-concept support
  • Guide customers through onboarding, implementation, and go-live
  • Troubleshoot API issues, investigate logs, validate configurations, and support escalations
  • Collaborate with Engineering to reproduce issues and ensure clear technical handoffs
  • Partner with Product and Customer Success to surface customer needs and influence the roadmap
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, playbooks, and sample code
  • Translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Support Sales with technical alignment throughout the deal cycle
We're seeking someone with experience including:
  • 4+ years in a Software Engineer focusing in solutions, Solutions Engineer, Solution Architect, or similar technical customer-facing role
  • Ability to read and write code (JavaScript, Python, Go (plus), or similar)
  • Experience debugging backend systems or cloud-based applications
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts
  • Comfort working directly with enterprise engineering teams and business stakeholders
  • Experience supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities
  • Bonus: exposure to cloud marketplaces, SaaS billing, metering, or revenue platforms
Why Join Us
  • Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 CAD/year.
  • Work alongside a top-notch team with experience at companies like Google, Meta, Salesforce, Pave, Motive, and Square.
  • Own a major pillar of our go-to-market strategy from day one - with the autonomy to build what you think is right.
  • Competitive compensation and equity plan.
  • Full healthcare benefits - extended health care, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • Monthly office stipends for lunch and commute-related benefits.
  • Fast-moving, flat org structure with real product-market fit and big ambitions.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
