Position Summar
Responsible for gathering, validating, and analyzing data to support Legislated Employment Equity Program (LEEP) filings for five employers. Requires advanced Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to reconcile large, complex data sets.

Supports the implementation of a new HRIS (Dayforce) by validating data migration, testing payroll outputs, and documenting new processes. Offers exposure to HR analytics, compliance reporting, and enterprise system implementation, with strong learning and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary analyst responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing workforce data required for Legislated Employment Equity Program (LEEP) reporting for five employers
  • Prepare accurate and timely data files, summaries, and supporting documentation for legislated submissions
  • Perform detailed comparisons and reconciliations across large data sets to identify discrepancies, trends, and anomalies
  • Support the Dayforce HRIS implementation by validating employee, job, compensation, and demographic data migrated from the legacy HRIS, comparing payroll outputs between systems during parallel testing and go-live, documenting new system processes for end users, documenting variances and working with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based tools, reports, and reconciliation templates
  • Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy and legislative requirements
  • Provide analytical support to HR initiatives and ad hoc reporting as required

Qualifications & Core Competencies

  • Working towards bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and large dataset analysis
  • Demonstrated experience comparing, reconciling, and analyzing large volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a structured, compliance-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
