Millennium Kidz N Kare is an energetic and positive environment dedicated to fostering imagination, self-confidence, self-care, and essential life skills in young children. We are seeking a passionate, professional Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Lead Educator. In this role, you will guide child-led programming, manage a small team of Educators, and ensure that all company protocols related to programming, documentation, and communication are followed. Previous experience in a leadership role within a childcare setting is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care through active supervision and a mindful approach to the program environment.

  • Enrich children's lives by providing positive role modeling and supporting their developmental growth.

  • Collaborate with fellow Educators to plan and facilitate child-driven programming based on individual interests.

  • Adapt to varying situations and problem-solve as challenges arise.

  • Plan, document, and communicate daily programming and updates with staff, children, and parents.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare space and materials following daily procedures.

  • Walk children to nearby schools and our secondary location in all weather conditions.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Childhood Education certification.

  • Recent Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Search Within 3 months of hire date.

  • Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • Three personal and three professional references.

  • Previous experience as a Lead Early Childhood Educator.
