Architect the Future of Home Services

Shack Shine is in the midst of a bold transformation. We're moving from a company that does one-time exterior cleaning and Christmas light installations to a technology-enabled powerhouse that takes care of the whole home through proactive exterior home care memberships.

We're already the leader in the categorywe created: house detailing. Now, we need a visionary Product Director to lead this strategic shift. Your goal is clear: turn every customer into a lasting, high-value member, and build an operating platform that helps our Franchise Partners realize predicable, profitable growth.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT YOU

You're a true product visionary who doesn't just manage roadmaps but transforms entire business models—you've successfully led the switch from transactional sales to high-value subscription or recurring revenue.

  • You're a builder at heart - someone who thrives on making useful things that enhance the lives of your customers.
  • A strategic leader who can roll up their sleeves to execute.  You make clear, decisive choices and turn a complex transformation strategy into a simple, executable plan.
  • The ultimate champion for Lifetime Value (LTV), obsessed with customer retention and maximizing the value of every customer.
  • A pro at building integrated systems for business owners, with experience building products for a network of independent businesses. You know how to drive adoption and profitable growth for your partners.
  • You have an AI/Data-Driven Mindset, always seeking to leverage data and AI to create personalized and proactive solutions for customers.
  • You are results-driven, your product vision and strategy is always tied to the most important business metrics.
YOUR IMPACT AT SHACK SHINE

As the Product Director, your core responsibility is to mastermind and execute the shift from a transactional service company to a high-LTV membership platform. This requires leading the integrated vision for our entire product ecosystem:

  • Own the Customer Lifecycle Platform: Define and launch the vision for our membership-based customer experience. You will build the end-to-end digital tools that maximize customer engagement and Lifetime Value (LTV) through recurring membership.
  • Design for Proactive Predictive Service: Alongside our Director, Software Engineering, lead the design of our data science capabilities and systems. Your goal is to create proactive customer journeys that anticipate needs and automate service delivery, making the experience effortless.
  • Pioneer Partner Success: Champion the re-design of our operational tools. You will transform our internal platforms into an integrated Operating System—the core business platform that makes running a profitable, scalable business radically simple for our partners.
  • Elevate Field Operations: Build the technology required to empower our frontline teams. You will ensure every service interaction is seamless and leverages data to convert customers into long-term member relationships.
  • Execute the Product Vision: You will own the strategic product roadmap and lead execution across our integrated platforms, ensuring every product decision directly builds our competitive advantage and LTV-first business model.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • Proven LTV Transformation Experience: You've successfully led the change from a one-time sales model to a thriving subscription or recurring revenue model.
  • Franchise/Multi-Unit Expertise: Deep experience building and driving adoption for products within a decentralized B2B2C network.
  • Strategic Product Leadership: Demonstrated success in setting an integrated product vision and roadmap that clearly ties to core business outcomes (e.g., ARR, Services/Customer).
  • Data & AI Acumen: A track record of leveraging data, machine learning, and AI to build automated and personalized customer experiences.
  • Play to Win Mindset: The ability to simplify complexity and drive clear execution across a scaling organization.
