Senior Application Programmer Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Application Programmer Analyst will play a key role in building and supporting internal and external – facing application, working alongside experienced developers and business resources to create enterprise systems that drive business success.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

· Ensure customer satisfaction

· Lead development efforts on major application platforms

· Interact with the business to understand and document requirements

· Design, develop and test new software solutions satisfying requirements in alignment with standards and the software development lifecycle

· Work with the extended development team to ensure changes are properly documented, communicated, audited and deployed in compliance with established procedures

· Root cause and resolve production problems in support of KPIs

· Mentor team members on technologies, practices and standards in areas of expertise

· Promote and assist in the creation of standards and processes

· Research and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on business requirements

· Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

· years of relevant professional experience

· Positive, collaborative team player with a professional attitude

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while effectively prioritizing tasks

· Experience with SQL performance tuning and developing software solutions using Oracle Developer Suite, Java, .NET, and web technologies. Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux

· Solid understanding of RDBMS platforms and a knowledge of web services and system integration using SOAP and REST
