Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting logs safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Cabling and uncabling of all loads
  • Maintain accurate records of BOLs.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs as necessary to ensure vehicle reliability.

Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial logging with a valid CDL and a minimum of 5 years of experience (Commercial Driver's License).
  • Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus.
