Job Summary

Bravocon Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated 
Fiber Technician
 to install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic networks. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with fiber construction and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables (single-mode and multi-mode)
  • Perform fusion splicing and mechanical splicing
  • Read and interpret fiber prints, schematics, and construction drawings
  • Test fiber using OTDR, power meter, and light source equipment
  • Troubleshoot fiber faults and perform repairs as needed
  • Install and maintain enclosures, patch panels, and cabinets
  • Maintain accurate documentation and test results
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and site requirements
  • Work outdoors and indoors in various weather conditions
  • Travel to job sites as required

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as a Fiber Technician (or related telecom role)
  • Knowledge of fiber optic construction standards and best practices
  • Experience with fusion splicing equipment and test tools
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically able to lift equipment and work in confined spaces
