Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, highly motivated, and Cloud Native Developer to join our team. You would work closely with other members of the team and other functional groups within Commerce Cloud as a whole. The role demands technical expertise in software development using microservices, Java/Spring Boot, building REST APIs, event-driven architecture, working with cloud hypervisors, databases, UI web component development, and handling production issues and complex requirements for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cloud Native Developer in the Commerce Cloud team, the primary responsibility will be to develop product features, maintaining the product code line, and helping the team deliver services on the cloud-native stack on a continuous basis. You will:
- Be a motivated, self-starter who can operate with minimal guidance.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and performant technical solutions.
- Design, code, test, maintain, and assure the quality of complex large scale product.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business goals.
- Collaborate across teams and time zones, demonstrating flexibility and accountability.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant exposure to building products on the cloud-native stack.
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Kubernetes, cloud technologies and test strategies (Azure, AWS, GCP, Docker, PACT Contract Testing, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Proven track record of writing and testing code for enterprise-scale systems.
- Experience with Angular is a plus.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
