Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction, and concrete forming, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. This role involves working on various residential and commercial projects, ensuring structural integrity and safety standards are met. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting, operating power tools and heavy equipment, and performing precise woodworking tasks. Experience in restoration, siding, concrete finishing, welding, and the use of hand tools is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within a professional environment dedicated to quality craftsmanship.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project requirements
  • Construct and install framing for walls, floors, roofs, and other structural elements using hand tools and power tools
  • Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks to create durable foundations and structures
  • Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and moving materials around the job site
  • Install siding, perform restoration work, and handle other exterior building components
  • Use welding techniques where necessary to join metal components or reinforce structures
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes
  • Assist with the setup and cleanup of work sites, maintaining a clean and organized environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in carpentry, construction, or related fields with a focus on framing or concrete forming
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
  • Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and siding installation preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and procedures
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Valid certification or relevant licensing is a plus but not mandatory
  • Prior experience in restoration projects or woodworking is advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.34-$31.57 per hour
