If you're ready to shape the future of player experience and enjoy the ride while you do it, this is where you'll thrive.
Your path to legendary impact starts here
Do you wake up Monday morning excited to deliver the highest possible content quality to your readers? Are you motivated by continuously unlocking the potential of your team members? Do you enjoy leading by example, scaling, setting the pace, and being accountable for your market results?
Join us as our Managing Editor for our highest impact market - North America. You will lead a world class team of four highly specialized content managers, overseeing 20+ skilled editors. Co-own the content journey of thousands of users and build a long term, sustainable strategy that keeps us ahead of the competition. Help our users. Grow your career. Win. What you will positively impact during your first three months with us:
- Your onboarding by getting up to speed on tools, processes, and people.
- Our BIC Content Quality checklist, SEO guides, and workflows by aligning with best practices and suggesting improvements.
- Our commercial outcomes by digging into data to understand what drives business value.
- Market planning through taking ownership of upcoming month-by-month roadmaps.
- Content quality by supporting QA to uphold standards.
- Full ownership of content quality across NA markets.
- Team leads and their performance, ensuring they deliver at pace and to standard.
- KPI tracking and accountability, embedding metrics into daily work.
- Operational excellence in task planning, commitments, and OKRs.
- Workflow optimisations, including BAU streams, AI opportunities, and freshness strategies.

- We seek resourceful and kind self-starters who enjoy autonomy, a dynamic environment, and high accountability. You'll thrive here if you're always eager to learn, value constructive feedback, and are excited by big goals.
- In terms of technical skills for the Managing Editor role, you ideally bring:
- A track record of writing and editing high-quality content, boosting user engagement and organic traffic.
- The ability to do the above whilst keeping SEO best practices.
- A strong managerial toolkit, understanding how to best lead your team members to unlock the most of their potential.
- We are not a place where you join, and it's an easy ride. We have clear KPIs and goals as we strive towards our multi-year strategic vision. This might be stressful at times, but will also lead you to supercharge how fast you unlock your own potential.
- We work in a fast-paced industry, and we believe learning quickly is more effective than analyzing forever before acting. That does lead to an environment where you will experience change more frequently than in a typical company.
- We don't have a micro-management environment where someone is always breathing down your neck. In other words: You need to be self-driven and proactive to make the most of your environment and achieve the growth you set out to achieve.
- For this role as Managing Editor, you will have multiple chances to progress further with us over time.
- We can't make any iron-clad promises as to timelines, as more senior roles are unlocked by us reaching our organizational targets. But an example could include growing into a Head of Content role while supercharging your content and leadership skillset further.
- Once you've passed your probation, we will make an IDP together, helping you reach your long-term career ambitions.
- 1st: Apply.
