The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Land Analyst
to join our dynamic team. This position will play a key role in managing mineral land assets, interpreting complex agreements, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of mineral rights.

Responsibilities

  • Identify mineral and surface rights for specific energy projects
  • Analyze, interpret, and administer mineral lease agreements, contracts, and related documents.
  • Manage and maintain mineral records and systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve related issues.
  • Prepare and submit Crown applications, transfers, continuations, and lease rentals.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and ensure compliance across all jurisdictions
  • Conduct regular quality checks on data and documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems and reports.
  • Provide strategic input into mineral right practices
  • Review and analyze land titles, contracts, and other legal documents related to mineral rights.
  • Assist in the management of project timelines and budgets.
  • Contribute to the development of business development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma in Energy Asset Management or Land Certificate
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an analyst position
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mineral land acquisition
  • Extensive experience with SPIN2, ISC, CS Land, and geoSCOUT
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with land management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in English.
