We are a supportive, client-centered mental health practice serving London and St. Thomas. Our growing team provides high-quality therapeutic services to adults, and we are seeking an experienced Sex Therapist to join our practice. You'll play a vital role in supporting individuals and couples working through challenges related to intimacy, sexual function, relationships, and self-esteem.

What You'll Do

• Provide individual and/or couples therapy to adults experiencing challenges related to intimacy, sexual health, desire, performance, relationships, and communication.
• Support clients with issues including performance anxiety, shame, trauma, low desire, identity exploration, body image, and relational dynamics.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Integrate evidence-based approaches and sex therapy frameworks into clinical practice.
• Maintain ethical standards and accurate, confidential documentation.
• Collaborate with other professionals as appropriate to ensure holistic client care.

• Dedicated to ongoing professional development in psychotherapy and sex therapy.

Qualifications

• Master's in Social Work (MSW), or equivalent psychotherapy or psychology credential.
• Registered and in good standing with one of the following regulatory colleges: Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO)
• Minimum 2 years of psychotherapy experience working with adults in clinical, social service, or therapeutic settings.
• Formal training in sex therapy is required
• Additional training in one or more of the following is an asset:
• EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
• EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples)
• Somatic therapies
• IFS (Internal Family Systems)
• Trauma-informed approaches
