Duties

Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor (Glacier) the Arena Attendant I repairs, maintains and monitors the refrigeration plant, arena, and building systems; performs ice, facility and equipment maintenance; interacts with the public; and serves as the authority in the building on assigned shifts. 

Qualifications

Considerable experience in monitoring, maintaining and repairing ice and equipment used within ice arenas or similar environments; supplemented by graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution with a 4th Class Power Engineering certificate; or sufficient qualifications as determined by assessment.
