Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and loving care for children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development
  • Assist with daily routines such as diapering, potty training, dressing, and nap times
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning tasks related to childcare areas
  • Administer basic first aid when necessary and handle minor injuries with confidence and care
  • Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing inclusive care
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, routines, and any concerns
  • Foster positive behavior through patience, encouragement, and consistent discipline strategies
  • Support early childhood education through teaching basic skills such as counting, alphabet recognition, or social interaction

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in settings such as babysitting, nannying, daycare centers, or preschool environments
  • Demonstrated knowledge of infant care practices including feeding, diapering, soothing techniques, and sleep routines
  • Experience caring for toddlers with an understanding of developmental milestones and age-specific needs
  • Familiarity with caregiving for children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable to ensure safety in emergency situations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and team members
