This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will directly contribute to the manufacturing of top-notch fences and gates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Custom MIG Welding: Execute high-quality MIG welding on a variety of metal components used in fence and gate production.
- Jig Preparation: Prepare and set up jigs and fixtures to ensure accurate welding processes.
- Specifications Interpretation: Read and interpret welding process specifications, blueprints, and work drawings to meet production requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on welded components to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain welding machines and other related tools, ensuring optimal performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 4-8 years of experience in MIG welding. Experience with Gates or Fences (Preferred)
- Education: Diploma or certification in welding (an asset).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in welding galvanized materials; must be able to read and interpret work drawings.
- Certifications: Forklift certification (an asset).
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills with the ability to operate industrial saws and forklifts.
- Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing your tasks efficiently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to handle weights up to 75 lbs.
