**This position works BOTH continental 12 hour shifts (Rotating between days and nights) AND 8 hour shifts (Rotating between days, nights and afternoons), depending on the machine you are working on**

Job Description

Hood Packaging Corporation is a quality manufacturer of packaging materials with 23 production facilities located in the United States and Canada. We have grown by acquisition and innovation. Our oldest, continuously running business started over 100 years ago in the Jute and Cotton trade and we have expanded our flexible packaging skills into Paper, Plastic, and Woven packaging substrates as more advanced technology has developed for these products.

HOOD PACKAGING CORPORATION requires motivated and skilled Machine Operators for our Burlington Paper facility.

*Requirements*

  • Minimum 2-3 years of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1-2 years of troubleshooting experience
  • Mechanically inclined

As a member of our dedicated team, you will apply good interpersonal and communication skills and a strong mechanical aptitude working on a rotating shift basis. Your excellent attitude and good attendance are complimented by your willingness to learn.

This position offers an excellent wage and benefits package.

The starting rate for this job is $25.28 per hour which quickly progresses to $27.84. As a qualified machine operator, you can earn $34.78 per hour. These rates are also subject to annual increases.
