Job Summary

Greens Coolers Inc. designs, builds, and services custom walk-in coolers and freezers for commercial clients across Canada.

We are looking for a licensed 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers and freezers
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and performance testing
  • Assemble, pipe, and charge refrigeration systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and technical standards
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with the operations team and clients

Experience

  • Valid 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic License (required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial refrigeration
  • Proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining walk-in cooler and freezer systems
  • Strong understanding of refrigeration components, piping, and system design
  • Ability to work independently and manage on-site tasks efficiently
  • Must hold a valid G-Class driver's licence and be able to travel for projects

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $75.00-$85.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
